From blue painter’s tape to blue waters…
/We all have a source. A source of strength, something we look to in order to refuel our energy and our soul. Mine is God and my vision boards. Yours might be meditation, running, or reading scripture. If you haven’t defined your source, do it.
I need to visually SEE what I desire. It helps me connect.
My husband and I recently relocated to South Carolina from New Jersey. This was a dream (a vision) come true for me.
One day, at my old house in New Jersey, I started clipping pictures of houses that I loved and wanted to live in someday. You see, I love water and I always pictured myself living that lifestyle.
I thought, what a better way to actually envision this dream than to hang these pictures up to look at every day. So using blue painter’s tape, I started to create a vision board right on my dining room wall and pretty soon it was filled. Friends thought I was funny, using a wall in my house as a vision board. I thought it was pretty perfect.
On a trip to look at potential, new houses months ago, we pulled into a lot and it was like a flash of light directly in front of my eyes. This house could be on my vision board right now!
Three months ago, we moved into that very house. My vision is now the view out of my window every single day.
I believe my source, my belief, my strength, enabled me to realize this vision. And I know it can happen for you, too.
